Our paper features in the July issue of Nature Cell Biology.
Our study of early rabbit development was published today in the July issue of Nature Cell Biology (Ton et al. 2023) 😃.

I’m thrilled that my graphic, illustrating our rabbit-mouse embryo comparisons, also features on the journal front cover. It depicts our approach to compare gene expression across k-nearest neighbour (kNN) graphs, constructed from single-cell RNA-seq data of the rabbit (left) and mouse (right) embryo (Ton et al. 2023).
To summarise the main goals, findings and conclusions of the project, I also wrote a research briefing, published in the same issue.

Alternatively, you can read my blog posts summarising the main results from the preprint (here).
This is the culmination of a 4-year collaborative project, with Mai-Linh Ton, Novo Nordisk and colleagues in the Göttgens, Benito-Guitierrez and Marioni labs. I’m really pleased to see it online and I look forward to seeing how others make use of these rabbit resources moving forward! 😃
